Both options put a car at your disposal, but they solve the airport-arrival problem quite differently. Here's how they actually compare once you land.

Price certainty

Uber's fare at CDG is an estimate that can rise with surge pricing, especially around peak arrival banks or bad weather. A private transfer booked in advance is a fixed price agreed before you fly, unaffected by demand spikes on the day.

Finding your driver

With Uber, you order once you've cleared customs and walk to a designated pickup zone, sometimes a significant walk from arrivals — and wait for a driver who is only assigned after you request. Luggage and group size

Which should you choose?
